- Professional Development Center (PDC). You have 24-hour access to a wealth of knowledge and information through WFGs innovative PDC your automated, one-stop shop for everything you need to know to get your new WFG business off to a great start. By offering a variety of helpful resources, the PDC takes a new associate step-by-step through insurance licensing and securities registration process and offers sales and leadership training to help new associates maximize their WFG business opportunity. Here is the type of training you can expect through WFGs Professional Development Center:
- WFG has joined forces with Kaplan Financial, a recognized leader in insurance licensing and securities registration training, to help associates navigate the licensing process and prepare for their licensing exams with the goal of the more quickly you get licensed, the more quickly your business is up and running.
- Through the PDC, associates have access to training programs designed to help them jumpstart their careers, such as the Field Training Program. This program allows a prospective registered representative to accompany and observe a qualified trainer on actual sales meetings for firsthand experience on how the sales process works.
- Training is available to help the associate master how to make a professional sales presentation that resonates with prospective clients.
- PDC Boot Camps are offered several times a year at locations throughout the United States and Canada. These intensive two-day seminars give attendees an opportunity to learn from WFGs most-experienced leaders, as well as from nationally recognized sales training experts, such as Blair Singer, best-selling author of SalesDogs and The ABCs of Building a Business Team that Wins. Singers popular Advanced Sales Training Class is also offered at some PDC Boot Camp locations.
- Through the PDC, you will have access to an extensive library of business-building podcasts and streaming video clips. Youll also find powerful book recommendations on a variety of business topics, such as leadership, sales, marketing and team building.
- WFG MD Academy. All WFG associates who earn a fully qualified promotion to Marketing Director are rewarded with an exciting trip to MD Academy at WFGs Executive Headquarters. MD Academy, the associates first step toward field leadership, is an intensive, three-day training meeting that helps the new MD learn leadership and business building skills and strategies that will help him/her grow his/her business and team.
- WFG Tiger School. Each year, WFGs up-and-coming associates qualify to attend this exclusive leadership training event that features a keynote address from Olympic gold medalist Dan Gable, one of the countrys greatest collegiate wrestling coaches and motivational speakers.
- WFG Convention of Champions. WFGs biggest annual event is its annual Convention of Champions four days packed with dynamic training sessions and business building workshops, designed for both the new associates and established financial services professionals alike. Registered representatives and Canadian associates will find workshops created exclusively for them. The Convention of Champions is an opportunity to learn from some of the top motivational speakers on the circuit.
